WP Care+ is still baseline maintenance: we operate the platform and coordinate with your support team, including malware removal, virtual patching, license coordination and speed optimization. WP Care Pro adds people doing work for your customer: end-user tickets with an SLA, site tasks, Hacked Site Repair Pro, site optimization and the PHP upgrade.
No. Many hosts start by standardizing WP Care on WP Maintain and add Pro tiers later. Running only the baseline leaves expansion revenue on the table, and selling premium without a baseline means upselling on a shaky foundation, so most hosts end up running both.
