WP Maintain’s Basecamp integration lets teams that run their work in Basecamp keep WP Maintain notifications and tasks in one place, instead of checking two tools.
How the Basecamp Integration Works
The Basecamp integration does two things. It sends WP Maintain notifications to a Basecamp Campfire, and it syncs tasks between the two tools in both directions. Both are set up from the Integrations tab in WP Maintain, and both aim at the same goal: the team sees what is happening on a site without leaving the tool it already works in.
Notifications in Campfire
Alerts and activity from WP Maintain show up in the Campfire your team already uses. When something needs attention, such as an alert from Smart Alerts, the right people see it in the conversation where they are already working. Nobody has to switch channels or wait for an email to find out what is happening on a site.
Two-Way Task Sync
Tasks stay in step between WP Maintain and Basecamp. A task created or updated in WP Maintain appears in Basecamp, and changes made in Basecamp flow back. That means care work tracked in Tickets & Tasks and project work tracked in Basecamp stay consistent, with no double entry and no copying updates by hand.
Who the Basecamp Integration Is For
The Basecamp integration suits hosts and agencies that already manage client projects in Basecamp and want WordPress care work to sit alongside it. Support teams keep working in the tool they know, while WP Maintain keeps monitoring, updates, backups and reports running in the background. Basecamp simply becomes another place where its notifications and tasks appear.
To get started, open the Integrations tab in WP Maintain and connect your Basecamp account. If you would like to see how it fits your setup, book a demo.
